Coverage

• 5-year warranty on the structural integrity of the teak wood components used in our furniture.
• This warranty covers manufacturing defects.

Limitations

• This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• OTAZEN is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

Exclusions

• Surface weathering, minor cracks (checking), or discoloration of the wood, which are regular occurrences in natural teak wood over time.
• Slight cracking, splintering, and minor warping in the wood are normal and should not be considered manufacturing defects. These issues depend on factors like placement, exposure to sunlight, water, and weather conditions. Therefore, careful handling and protection of the furniture are essential for its longevity.
• Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or accidents.
• Damage caused by extreme weather conditions, such as hurricanes, severe storms, or extremely high or low temperatures.
• Natural wear and tear of the wood, including changes in color and texture due to exposure to sun and rain.
• Damage caused by the use of non-recommended cleaning and maintenance products.

Acrylic Fabric

• 5-year warranty against loss of color, strength, and UV degradation under normal use and environmental conditions, maintaining color fastness and resistance to UV and weather.

Polyester Fabric

• 5-year warranty against loss of color, strength, and UV degradation under normal use and environmental conditions, maintaining color fastness and resistance to UV and weather.

Olefin Fabric

• 3-year warranty against UV exposure, covering color fastness and rot-proof properties.

Sling Fabric

• 3-year warranty, maintaining 50% of breaking strength, flame retardancy, and uniform color fading under UV exposure.

Exclusions

• The warranty does not cover improper handling, chemical damage, or normal wear and tear.
• The warranty does not cover stains caused by natural teak oil.

Claim Evaluation

• Our team will evaluate the claim and, if deemed valid, coordinate the repair or replacement of the defective product.

Repair or Replacement

• If repair is impossible, we will replace the defective product with one of equal or greater value. Shipping costs for repair or replacement will be covered according to the same Incoterms of the purchase.
